Bifold Bar Dresser

Our Bifold Bar Dresser is a highly practical and versatile piece of furniture that is a desirable addition to any kitchen, dining room or living space. This contemporary design is suited to a variety of uses but focuses on keeping things hidden behind large bifold doors rather than on display for all to see. The bifold doors open across the worktop to reveal a large useable work surface and open shelving for storage. With two drawers and cupboard space below too, it’ll offer plenty of alternative storage. The Shaker style doors and drawers present a versatile, pared-back yet elegant design that is suited to any contemporary or traditional interior. Traditional details include rounded skirting and a decorative cornice, while the plain backboard creates a cleaner look. The solid oak top is a timeless choice and brings warmth while the quartz is a more contemporary choice, both contrast against the painted finish throughout.

This design would be perfect as a breakfast bar, imagine the shelves filled with cereals and spreads then a toaster and coffee machine sat on the worktop below. Cutlery would be kept in the drawers while the cupboards would be full of plates and bowls. Or how about a drinks bar with rows of delicate glassware on the shelving and colourful drink bottles lined up on the worktop. Lighting

We offer integrated lighting for this design to transform your beautiful piece of furniture into something even more special. This additional feature includes a pre-fitted LED COB strip that is fixed across the top behind the front frame. An LED COB strip offers a soft seamless light that doesn't present the typical 'spotted' effect that standard LED strips have, this is a new LED product that will provide a high quality aesthetic to truly enhance your furniture. This lighting will provide a warm 2700k glow and is all connected ready for you to plug straight into a mains electrical socket.

Materials

Our cabinetry is made from a mixture of woods with beaded back panelling. We spray-paint our furniture for a perfect finish, and you can choose from any Farrow & Ball colour.

If you opt for a solid oak top, this will always be left unpainted. Oak is a beautiful material with plenty of character, the colour and grain can vary from piece to piece which creates a lovely surprise every time. To keep it looking at it's best, we finish the oak with a protective oil, available in a range of colours to choose from, each colour creates a different feel for your design without compromising the natural look and feel of the wood, take a look at our Samples page to see what colours we have available.

This dresser features solid oak, clear lacquered dovetailed drawers on concealed soft close runners.
